Work undertaken in 2016

January and ongoing -- regular work providing technical advice and updates to the Woodland Trust on relevant occupational and visitor safety issues.

 

January and ongoing -- an agreement is in place with the Historic Houses Association (HHA) for the provision of health and safety advice to its members, and to the HHA centrally.

 

January and ongoing -- an agreement is in place to act as Health and Safety Adviser for the Landmark Trust, and to undertake work to implement improvements to health and safety arrangements.

 

January -- work for the Landmark Trust, reviewing and recommending improvements to existing health and safety policy and arrangements.

 

January -- work for the Commissioners of Irish Lights, undertaking visitor safety risk assessments at two Irish lighthouses.

 

January - March -- work for Hever Castle, reviewing occupational risk assessments and helping to develop existing visitor and occupational safety arrangements.

 

March - April -- work for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, advising on visitor safety policy and plans and risk assessments.

 

May -- work for Lowther Castle and Gardens, updating a previous visitor safety risk assessment.

 

June -- work for Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE), looking at visitor safety issues at Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder and Loch Faskally, Perthshire.

 

June - July -- work for Auckland Castle Trust, reviewing existing safety arrangements.
