January and ongoing -- regular work providing technical advice and updates to the Woodland Trust on relevant occupational and visitor safety issues. This involves occasional site visits, writing case studies and producing a quarterly H&S newsletter.
January and ongoing -- an agreement is in place with Historic Houses for the provision of health and safety advice to its members, and to Historic Houses centrally.
January and ongoing -- acting as Health and Safety Adviser for the Landmark Trust, and undertaking work to implement improvements to health and safety arrangements. This involves writing guidance, undertaking site visits, providing advice and dealing with technical queries.
January - February -- work providing technical advice and news updates for the Auckland Project on relevant occupational and visitor safety issues.
January - February -- work for the National Trust, North Devon, reviewing visitor safety plans.
February - March -- work for the Palace Trust at the Bishop's Palace, Wells, auditing safety arrangements.
March - June -- work for BNP Paribas acting for EDF Energy, advising on visitor safety on the Dungeness Estate.
March and ongoing -- work for a firm of solicitors in relation to possible enforcement action.
April - July -- work for Clare Local Development Company, undertaking a risk assessment for the Cliffs of Moher Coastal Path and developing a Visitor Safety Plan.
June - October -- work for the Woodland Trust, visiting several locations in England and Wales to produce case studies on water safety issues.
August -- commenting on RoSPA's draft guidance on Safety at Inland Waters.
September - December -- work for the Commissioners of Irish Lights, undertaking visitor safety risk assessments at 7 lighthouses in Wicklow, Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Clare.
